A Virtual Tour of Banja Luka
In this video we wanted you to experience this first virtual walk with us through the city centre.
Banja Luka is the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It is located in the northern part of the country, along the Vrbas River.
Banja Luka and its surroundings are well known in the world of extreme sports, rafting, canoeing, canyoning, skydiving and climbing are just some of the activities that people from all over the world go to: simply impressive.
If you ever plan to visit the Banja Luka area in Bosnia and Herzegovina, you should definitely experience Banja Luka and its surroundings.
Banja Luka is known as “the green city” because it has many streets and tree-lined parks, as you will see in our virtual tour.
In this video we wanted you to experience this first virtual walk with us through the city centre.
We did not post music in the video because we wanted you to experience the “talk in town” where you can hear the local people. It is always possible to add your own music if you wish, as the walk takes a little over 40 minutes.
Our walk is focused solely on the center of Banja Luka.
We started at the National Theater of the Republika Srpska and made a circle around the city center to finish back at the Theater.
In this video you will see:
The National Theater of the Republika Srpska.
The pedestrian street full of cafes.
The Presidential Palace.
The Orthodox Cathedral "Christ the Saviour".
The Banski Dvor Cultural Center.
The Municipal Building of Banja Luka.
Gospodska Ulice (Gentlemen’s Street).
Zanatski Center.
Krajina Square, with the 1969 earthquake commemorative clock.
Petar Kočić Park, dedicated to the Bosnian Serbian writer, activist and politician from the early 20th century.
The main post office, plus many ancient buildings and monuments that portray the very diverse history of this city.
We would also suggest that you download our free Banja Luka guide for more information about these places in the city, and much more.
