Location - Location - Location
Deffo not too close to "hustle and bustle", but close enough to amenities (health support, shopping etc).
In the village here we have quite a few old, unoccupied and delapidated houses.
Slowly but slowly, it seems to me at least, they are being made fit for purpose again by younger people.
Whether their aim is to have a "city free" life, a nice weekend retreat (vikendice), or running from COVID, I have no idea.
You know back in the UK when talking about property, I was always being told "location, location, location".
We have "location" here.

I selfishly hope, (for the time I have left), that this village keeps it's rural "feel".
In other news, as I looked up at the blue cloudless skies that I love so much, there was an "old home" from last year, left behind in the tree tops.
New builders are starting to return.
COVID hasn't stopped that, I am glad to report.
