Hello and welcome to this edition of our Blog, from Čardačani, in the north of Bosnia and Herzegovina, written by an immigrant (me), as I am neither a tourist or a citizen here.

The Weather.
Čardačani - 26th February 2023
After all those really Spring like days, where we walked in light jackets and enjoyed the warmth of the sun on our faces, 24 hours ago we awoke to the above. How crazy!
It took Tamara, her father, and me, to dig the drive out.
Tamara reckons it was just a 15-20cm dump of snow.
We even had a 14 hour power outage.
Thank goodness for our woodburner!
The Habit.
I have started journalling. Can you believe that?
I have started daily journaling as a way to reflect on my thoughts and experiences. I have NEVER done this before, so to be honest, it’s a bit scary. Even at my age.
I am taking 15 minutes each day to write down my thoughts in rough form, where I hope to gain greater clarity and insight into my emotions and behaviours.
It seems that journaling can also be a helpful tool for managing stress and anxiety, (which I have always suffered with, but covered up).
I'm excited to see where this daily practice is going to take me and if it will impact my overall well-being.
Any Tips, Tricks or Advice for me would be really helpful 😀

The Place to Visit. ⬇️
The “Sand Pyramids” are a unique natural phenomenon that attracts visitors from all over the world. These pyramids are tall, cone-shaped rock formations that were created by the erosion of soft sedimentary rocks over thousands of years.
The sand pyramids are located in the village of Đurđevića Tara, near the town of Foča in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The pyramids vary in size, with some reaching heights of up to 40 meters. The shapes of the pyramids are constantly changing due to the erosion caused by wind and rain.
Visitors can hike to the top of the sand pyramids for a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. The area around the pyramids is also home to many hiking trails and scenic viewpoints.
