Salon Stripa loosely means “Comics Festival”.
Salon Stripa loosely means “Comics Festival”.
This years event in Laktaši was the thirteenth, having said that, 2020’s event did not take place, due to the world-wide pandemic.
Comic authors and cartoonists from the region came for a 3 day session of collaboration, workshops and promotion of their art.
The main artist exhibited this year was Bojan Jokanovic, who has created 2 educational books, based on a cartoon character, that shows correct and incorrect usage of the Serbian language.
The International Comics Festival is an annual event organized and led by Belgrade’s Student Cultural Center (SKC). The Festival is the biggest comics event in Serbia, and is one of the most important in the region. Each year, the Festival is held during the last week of September (from Thursday to Sunday).
