Welcome to the this edition of This Week in the Balkans
Thanks for reading my posts. It means a lot and I really appreciate your support and being part of the community here.
Morning, it's a Saturday, I don't know, it's the last Saturday of September 2023, about nine o'clock in the morning. I'm having this on because of the sun and my second coffee.
I wanted to ask you a quick question about the content that you're seeing here. I've been flying the drone a lot, in fact I'm going to be flying a little bit more with it. I'm trying to learn how to use it properly. I'm not a great drone pilot but I just want to play in the local area before I go away around the country to film things and I'm not the most confident. If I can't see it.
I got all panicky where I should just actually be confident and that the drone will do what it's got to do. But yes, what sort of videos would you like to see from here? Do you want me just to sit down and chat about daily life here? Or would you like to see more drones about the area where I live? What would you like to see?
My podcast I've got no problems with because I've got my podcast schedule planned out and I'm inviting more and more people to chat on the podcast which I hope that you like. But yeah about the video content and I don't want to make too much video content because I'm not a great videographer, as you most probably know. But do you like it? If so, just give us a comment because that way I know what to make and what you like to watch. When I'm watching the channels that I follow, I just like watching everyday life, no matter how boring it seems to the people that are making it, I find it interesting. Maybe that is the same for you. So please let me know.
Tamara and I are going to take advantage of the last few weeks of this good weather. Apparently we're getting an Indian summer, which will be interesting because we had that nice warm weather, that roasting weather when we're in Montenegro and now we've come back and it got all rainy and miserable and now we're back with good weather again so we're going to take advantage of that and hopefully in the next couple of days we're going to go to Bliha, which is one of the many waterfalls in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It's about an hour's, hour and a half's drive away. And I wanna go there because I've seen lots of pictures on the internet. We've never ever been there in all these years. So yeah, I'm looking forward to that. Gonna take this, this, and hopefully get some good footage for you.
And also, no promises, but I might get really brave today and when we go out for a little shop, I might go and take some video of our local bridge. Yeah, the Banana Bridge. So, in this video, I'm going to put together some clips of some flights I've done around the village at sunset and in the morning, Predrag, Tam's father.
I won't show it's out of shot, is making, I don't know what he's making, is it somewhere to store his garden tools or to improve where his outside shower is? I don't know, but.
A Quick Interruption
