My wife and I are living “safely” in NY and are intimately aware of the pressures on BiH, that said our trajectory remains to retire in Sarajevo (once daughter is out of college). Although we love traveling in Serbia, we are with the Bosnian people and will live amongst them regardless. 🇧🇦
Scott, I don't see a return to violence but "never say never" nags away in my mind. The international Community (IC) needs to sort this with a full conclusion. The Dayton Peace Agreement simply kicked the problem into the long grass. I saw first hand being with NATO here for 6.5 years, how confused, inept, and clueless the IC were. Each country including my own imposing their own solutions which in no way took the culture of the Bosnians (of all shades) into account. Oh and the ever 6 month changes of IC staff ensured that there was no corporate experience. On hindsight unforgivable.
