As someone living in over-touristed Greece, maybe keeping Bosnia low on the radar is a good thing? I'd love to come back there and explore more.

Love it! I've been telling people they must visit the former Yugoslavia (where I travelled up and down the Dalmation coast following the 3 dance troups: Lado, Kolo and Tanec) during the summer in 1968.. I didn't get to Bano Luka but loved Sarajevo. So happy to know that you now airbnb. I'd be there in a minute, but travelling days are over, so I'll send someone to visit you and fall in love with an amazing culture, Thank you for being there and bringing us such joy and moments of nostalgia!

Thanks Nick. I sometimes am caught between telling the world to come and see the country (tourist money), and hiding it away so it keeps its culture for as long as possible.

Totally understand. "Selski turizam" can bring so many benefits to all sides, but also some major downsides. Parts of southern Bulgaria have been blighted by it.
